About
Where story and music come together.
The Music Maker began as the home of Sacha Hoedemaker's own releases and grew into a label and studio built on one idea: the most powerful music starts with the story, not the instrument.
Founder, A&R and creative lead
Sacha Hoedemaker.
Sacha Hoedemaker is an Amsterdam-based composer, pianist and music director whose work spans theatre, film, tv, advertisements and live performance. After more than 3,000 live shows as Music Director at Boom Chicago, his music has reached more than 50 million streams worldwide and was featured in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Emmy-winning series Create Together.
How we work
Story first, every time.
Define the narrative goal, design the sonic role, then record with intention. That process shaped years of live storytelling on stage, and it shapes every release and every brief at The Music Maker today.
Today the label runs on a team of AI agents that handle the operations around the music, so artists and clients get label-level care while every note stays human-made.
