Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use themusicmaker.nl. The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

• Every page works with a keyboard and shows where you are with a visible focus ring.
• Text and buttons keep a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background.
• Images carry text alternatives.
• If your device asks for reduced motion, the moving piano keys and scroll effects switch off.
• Music players load only when you choose to play.

How we check it

Before each release we test every page at phone, tablet and desktop sizes with automated accessibility checks. These checks are automated, not an external audit, so if you find something that does not work for you, we want to hear it.
